Argentsure started with a simple idea: baby clothes should feel as good as they look. It began in the summer of 2024, when two friends, Leo and Patricia, decided to turn years of talking about "someday starting something together" into an actual business. That someday arrived on the 1st of July 2024, when Argentsure was officially registered in the Netherlands and the two of them became business partners in every sense of the word.

We're based in Hoogeveen, a small city where things still move at a human pace, and that's very much the spirit we wanted to build the shop around. From a modest workspace there, we started sourcing and packing outfits for babies and toddlers, focused on pieces that parents could actually rely on for daily life, not just for photos.

Neither of us came from a big fashion background. What we did have was a shared frustration with baby clothing that looked adorable in a photo but felt rough against a baby's skin, or that fell apart after a handful of washes. We wanted something better for our own kids and, as it turned out, for a lot of other families too. So we started small, testing fabrics, comparing suppliers, and asking new parents in our own circle what actually mattered to them day to day. The answers were pretty consistent: softness, comfort, and clothes that could keep up with a baby who has no interest in sitting still.

That's the foundation Argentsure is still built on today. Every piece we choose has to earn its place in a baby's wardrobe. We focus on everyday essentials, the onesies, rompers, sleepwear, and layering pieces that get worn on repeat, alongside cuter, dressier outfits that make perfect gifts for a baby shower, a first birthday, or just because. Whether you're shopping for your own little one or picking something special for someone else's, our goal is the same: clothing that's gentle on delicate skin, easy for tired parents to manage, and genuinely lovely to look at.

We're still a small, hands-on team. Orders are packed with the same care we'd want if we were the ones receiving them, and we're always listening to feedback from the families who shop with us, because that's exactly how this business started in the first place.
